If you are looking forward to have a seaside vacation, then Algarve is your destination. Algarve is known for its calm waters, golf courses, and golden beaches. It is not only the day life but Algarve is known for its lively night life. There are hotels and villas at the beaches that give an exciting view of the beach and one can just grab their gear and head to the beach. I will share how I picked the destination to spend a great day in Algarve.

I love rivers and my destination to spend a great day was in the river town of Tavira. My day started off with a thought that if I have to enjoy the riverside, then the best option would be to walk by the river. This gives a good opportunity to see fishermen making their fresh catch. I thought of taking a break and stepped in a restaurant to grab a cup of coffee and some pastries.

After I was done with my breakfast, my plan was to catch a ferry to Ilha de Tavira, which was outside the town. It was an awesome trip, the sun, waves, calmness, everything was superb. I had lunch during this fabulous spiritual journey, where you can feel connected to the air, waves, and the life that breathes through Portugal. After that it was time to head back and from there my plan was to head to Loule. There is an awesome Saturday market that grabs the attention of many. It was there I surfed through ceramics and some handicrafts, which really grabbed my attention. After spending a good hour going through different items, I thought of taking a break and had coffee at one of the oldest restaurants in Loule.

As the day was coming to an end, I thought of taking the northern route and explored some of the country towns and made it back before sunset to have a drink at Rio Gillio.
